Essentially these devices are specialised parallel optical communication devices which aid communication between autonomous handling equipment in semiconductor fabrication plants.
Hokuyo supplies a range of E84 compliant devices, with a range of NPN and PNP options. E84 connectors are either imperial or metric fitting and a range of cable lengths can also be supplied.
Data transmission
Devices with a transmission range of up to 3m with 4, 8 and 16 bit data packets and long range serial devices with transmission distances of up to 200m.
